【摘要】:Thisguidecoversrecommendedguidelinestohealthcareinstitutionsforthedevelopmentandissuanceofrequestsforproposals(RFPs),aswellasguidelinesformedicaltranscriptionserviceorganizations(MTSOs)respondingtorequestsforproposals.ItdoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthelegalaspectsoftheRFP,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisguidetoestablishappropriatelegalguidelinespriortouse.ItisappropriateforhealthcareinstitutionstoissueRFPsfromtimetotimeoratregularcontractualintervalsforthepurposeoffacilitatingtheprocessofcontractingformedicaltranscriptionservices.ItisanticipatedthatbothacommercialcontractforservicesandaHIPAABusinessAssociateAgreementwillbebasedupontherespondingproposalssubmittedtotheRFP.
