【摘要】:SinceDINENISO19115doesnotprovideanyencoding,theactualimplementationofgeographicinformationmetadatacouldvarybasedontheinterpretationofmetadataproducers.Inanattempttofacilitatethestandardizationofimplementations,thiscomprehensivemetadataimplementationspecificationprovidesadefinitive,rule-basedencodingforapplyingDINENISO19115.ItprovidesExtensibleMarkupLanguage(XML)schemasthataremeanttoenhanceinteroperabilitybyprovidingacommonspecificationfordescribing,validatingandexchangingmetadataaboutgeographicdatasets,datasetseries,individualgeographicfeatures,featureattributes,featuretypesorfeatureproperties.
